Let us pray together, giving thanks for God’s blessings on our lives.

Heavenly father, we thank you for the ministry of Father Simon and the many among us who offer their time and gifts to the life of St Peters’.

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

As we journey towards the Feast of Ascension on May 22, we step forward in full faith and courage, asking for Your wisdom on the choices we make and the actions we take every day of our lives.

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Almighty God, with you all things are possible. We pray for peace across the world, for an end to the Russia/Ukraine conflict, and for commitment to the common good, from all the nations and leaders of the world.

Almighty God

We give thanks for those we love, for those we see each day and for those we miss. Help us to value and look after one another as we live the loving ways of your commands.

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Heavenly Father, we commend to your eternal presence those who have recently died, and those whose anniversary falls at this time. Today we pray for the souls of Nigel John and Harold Hatt.

Rest eternal grant unto them, O Lord, and may thy light perpetual shine upon them.

Creator God, we thank you for the blessings of baptism, which delivers us into a community of faith. We pray for Aylmer & Eliza and their family and ask for blessings on all those baptised into your church across the nation this Sunday.

Merciful Father, accept these prayers for the sake of your Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
