St Peter’s Choir

Our choir is a friendly group of singers who sing regularly during our Sunday Mass at 10am, and for special services throughout the year such as Ash Wednesday, All Souls and during the Triduum in Holy Week.

Some voice parts are supported by our choral scholars, professional singers who have been chosen especially for their ability to inspire and encourage their fellow singers – it’s a great way to grow in confidence and to sing a wonderful range of music from across the Christian tradition.

Rehearsals

Our choir rehearses on Mondays [the first three mondays of each month (7.15pm – 9pm)] and before shortly before each service.

Auditions

Auditions for our choir are informal. If you would like to join or arrange an informal audition please contact our Music Director.

St Peter’s Compline Singers

Each month, on the first Sunday of each month, we invite those who are comfortable sight readers to join our group of Compline Singers to sing Compline (Sung Night Prayer). The rehearsal lasts an hour beforehand (5pm – 6pm) and the service is at 6pm, for around 25 minutes, and is followed by a glass of wine or a soft drink.

To arrange an audition and to join our Compline Singers contact our Music Director.
