St Peter’s has a rich musical tradition, with lots of opportunities for people to contribute their talents during our weekly Sunday Parish Communion and at other special services and events throughout the year.
St Peter’s Choir
Our choir is a relaxed, informal and occasional, made up of members of the parish and friends of St Peter’s. We come together to sing several times during the year.
You don’t have to be a regular churchgoer to join. All we ask is that you have a love of music, and can sing in tune!
If you’d like to find out more, come along one Sunday or email David at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out when we’ll next be singing and to get details of rehearsal times.
St Peter’s Church Organ
The St Peter’s organ by JW Walker is rather special: it was installed when the Church was extended in 1884. Unlike most organs of that time, it has been little changed since and has just had a sympathetic restoration. Thanks to a distinguished visitor, Brian Gill, we now have detailed notes about the organ – The organ of St Peter de Beauvoir Notes by Brian Gill .
