Palm Sunday is one of the most important events in the Christian year, celebrating the time when Christ entered Jerusalem accompanied by excited crowds waving palms.
We will meet in De Beauvoir Square at 9.50 am for the Blessing of Palms, a hymn and prayers and then process to the Church (unless the weather is bad, in which case we’ll meet in the Crypt).
Our main weekly service at St Peter’s will take place as usual between 10am-11am. During school term-time, children may join the Noisy Church session in the crypt (start in church and then follow the children down to the crypt).
Coffee and cakes or biscuits are served immediately after the service and offer the chance to talk to members of the clergy and congregation. Don’t forget to pick up a leaflet when you leave, and to give us your email address if you’d like to receive our email newsletter!
