Sunday March 25th 10am Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday marks the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. The blessing and distribution of palm crosses, procession and reading of the palm gospel are joined to the Sunday eucharist at which the whole of the Passion narrative is read. Start in De Beauvoir Square.
March 26th – 28th Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday in Holy Week, 8pm
Evening Holy Communion with meditation and music.
March 29th, Maundy Thursday, 8pm
Commemoration of the Last Supper, with foot-washing followed by Watch of Prayer (silent meditation) until 10pm. Following this, the main altar is stripped so that the church is bereft of decoration for Good Friday. The bareness symbolises the desolation of the passion. Come for as long (or as little) of this very moving service as you like.
March 30th, Good Friday, 10am
Liturgy with veneration of the Cross. The reading of the passion according to John, followed by solemn prayers, veneration of the cross and Holy communion.
March 31st, Holy Saturday, 10am
Making the Easter Garden. Please bring flowers and greenery to decorate the church.
April 1st, EASTER SUNDAY, 10am
Join our special service to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ. Easter egg hunt afterwards.
