Holy Saturday is a time of waiting. Christ has been crucified, but we know he will rise again. Christians live in the tension of “now – not yet”. It is a shimmering time of suspension and anticipation. We reflect on our own lives too, hoping to refresh and renew our commitment to follow the example of Jesus, and live a life of love, kindness and forgiveness.
At St Peter’s we celebrate Holy Saturday by decorating the church, starting at 10am. We prepare an “Easter Garden”. Please bring flowers and greenery – or just bring yourself!
